Brighton Argus 4 stars “Susanne Crosby is successful with Hilda’s transition from godliness to ruthless, vindictive manipulator”
Shoreham Herald “a winner for facial expressions is the excellent Susanne Crosby as Hilda Massie. It’s a shame her brilliant, and extremely important, opening speech was spoiled yesterday evening by people arriving late and loudly taking their seats in the front row.”

Madame Raquin in “Therese Raquin”
Directed by Dan Dryer, Barn Theatre, Southwick, Brighton, December 2018, produced by Wick Theatre Company
Feedback:
Excerpt from the NODA Review: “the ageing up face paint was so realistic it took me a little while to realise it was the much younger, glamorous Susanne Crosby… Susanne Crosby inhabited the character of Madame Raquin making her both dominating but also likeable. Her body language made you almost feel the aches and pains in her legs. Her pièce de résistance was a convincing portrayal of paralysis and her twisted smile of victory at the end.” Read the full review here
Excerpt from the Shoreham Herald Review: “Susanne Crosby as Madame Raquin has a tough job, starting off strident and ending up, well, the very opposite.” Full review
Audience Feedback:
“Suse Crosby was wow amazing!” “your face at the end of the play is genius” “Stunning performances from all of you and I loved how much you could say with just your eyes!” “Suse you were utterly superb”

Lettice in “Lettice & Lovage”
written by Peter Shaffer, Produced by Southwick Players, April 2015
Co-director and lead.
For the fabulous gallery of professional show photos please see the Miles Davies Photography gallery.
Excerpt from the West Sussex Gazette review:
“IT TAKES a special person to fill the lead role in a play with just four weeks’ notice. Luckily for Southwick Players, Susanne Crosby has that quality, taking on the role of Lettice Douffet at the 11th hour and giving what can only be described as an award-winning performance on opening night yesterday.”
“It is a big role to fill but Susanne did it beautifully, not only hilarious throughout but bringing out the poignancy towards the end. As she is an experienced writer and director, it is no surprise her performance extended from head to toe, with every movement counting.”
